HOW PROFILO9 CAME TO LIFE

At the foot of the Asolo Hills, in the heart of Veneto, nature offers a harmony of colors and shapes that shift with the seasons.
Vineyards stretch in perfect rows, villages steeped in history dot the landscape, and views that have long inspired poets, artists, and craftsmen unfold before the eye.
It is within this unique setting that our story takes shape. In the early 1980s, a craftsman opened his workshop dedicated to metalworking — the beginning of a journey built on passion, research, and continuous evolution.
Today, every one of our creations carries that same passion within it — the strength of raw materials, the delicate spirit of our land, and the legacy of a craft tradition that keeps reinventing itself. In 1998, Tecnomarmi was founded, marking the start of a path filled with achievements — one that now evolves even further with the launch of the Profilo9 brand.
With Profilo9, we want to express an idea of unity: the coming together of the earth’s materials — wood, metal, marble, and leather — which our company has come to know and master through years of experience. Each material holds a story, a memory, a mark.
To unite them is to create something that embodies the essence of all these journeys.
Metaphorically, it is as if every person and every company that has crossed our path had left behind a fragment, a contribution, a sign. For us, creation means exactly this: bringing together skills, experiences, and above all, the knowledge gained over time by working with matter itself. The concept behind our artworks expresses this perfectly: to create a true work of art, many pieces must come together.
Each fragment, shaped by time and experience, contributes to the final result.
The same happens with our products — every oxidation, every imperfection, every mark becomes a testament to a shared journey.

We like to think of these traces as the marks left by people on the company — and by the company on people.
Every collaboration leaves its imprint, and it is precisely these stories, these experiences, these “oxidations” that make our creations unique and unrepeatable.
